Auckland City Graffiti ( Volume I ) :

This is a book of 125 Graffiti Images taken in Auckland, New Zealand, between the year 2008 to 2011. The book is divided into the chapters of "Murals", "Paste-ups, Street Graffiti", and "Tagging". The images were all taken in Central Auckland which is comprised of the inner city and adjacent boroughs that form the central suburbs. Graffiti is a perishable art form, some of the graffities documented no longer exist today, and eventually all but some iconic murals will have dissappeared, while new graffiti will have been replacing them. The cost and social demerits of graffiti must be weighed against the aesthetics and positive value of graphic expression that graffiti can provide. Graffiti is a living art form that provides a person or people with a tool for expression in a publicly accessible medium.
